Come unto me — It is with a gentle, tender voice that Jesus calls us. How often have we watched a little child run willingly—trustingly—into the outstretched arms of a parent. But when a rift has come between parent and child, the footsteps falter and hesitate to obey. The rift of sin between the human race and our Creator causes us to hesitate when we hear His beckoning call. Over the noise and confusion Jesus calls—calls to the weary, the burdened, the oppressed, “Come unto me”. What does He offer? Pardon for sin, rest for the weary and hope for tomorrow.
